Know your limits

Responsible Gaming

Updated September 10, 2026 Applies to all Apollo accounts

Know your limits & play responsibly

At the Apollo Fantasy Football Experience, it is all about competing, community, and having fun — and we want it to stay that way. Only use APUSD, league entries, and shop packs that you can afford, and always set reasonable limits before you draft or join a table. From the second you open an account to the moment you claim a prize, our number one priority is that you play safely and responsibly. Terms apply. 21+ only. Play games with your head, not over it.

Here is what we do to make that happen

BLAQclouds, Inc. operates AFFE as a fantasy sports platform with paid contests, APUSD credit, and rewards. Safer play is built into how we staff the product and who we let onto paid rails.

  • We educate team members to recognize problem gambling and give them resources to help.
  • We provide information and assistance to our players, including this page and the National Council on Problem Gambling helpline.
  • We participate in programs and initiatives to increase problem gambling awareness.
  • We prevent underage play. Paid leagues, the shop, and prize claims stay locked until you confirm you are 21+ and complete compliance.

Think you or someone you know has a gambling problem?

Reach out for help. We encourage you to visit the National Council on Problem Gambling or call toll free 1-800-522-4700. You can also use the NCPG chat. AFFE staff cannot provide financial, medical, or counseling advice.

Know your limits

We want managers to enjoy drafting a team, setting lineups, and following live NFL scoring. For some people, wagering and contest play can become a problem. Please familiarize yourself with the information below, especially if you are recovering from any kind of dependency.

  • Always establish limits for depositing APUSD and entering contests before you start playing.
  • Decide beforehand on a time limit for your playing session and stick to it. Within that session, take regular breaks.
  • Never play paid contests if it interferes with your daily responsibilities.
  • Never play if you are in recovery from any dependency or are under the influence of alcohol or any other substance.
  • Never play if your primary aim is to recover losses. Remember, bet with your head, not over it.

Play responsibly — set gaming limits

Paid AFFE contests, memberships, and shop items use APUSD platform credit. Only spend what you can afford to lose. You can ask an admin to freeze your account if you need a break from paid play.

Underage gambling

Underage gambling is prohibited and can be a criminal offense. You must be at least 21 years old to use paid AFFE features, including league entries, APUSD packs, and prize claims. We check date of birth on the play eligibility form and may close accounts that fail age verification.

Federal prohibitions and restrictions

There are several federal prohibitions and restrictions regarding internet wagering which include, but are not limited to, 18 U.S.C. §§ 1084 et seq. (the Wire Act) and 31 U.S.C. §§ 5361 through 5367 (the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act). You are responsible for following the laws of the jurisdiction where you are physically located. Restricted countries cannot buy packs, pay entries, or claim prizes. BLAQclouds, Inc. is registered with FinCEN as a Money Service Business. The BSA ID registration number awarded by FinCEN is 31000313564202.

Problem gambling / safer play resources

Problem Gambling FAQs, screening tools, and self-help toolkits from the Cambridge Health Alliance, Division on Addiction, are available to the public. Your First Step to Change is a collection of self-change toolkits. Many people change excessive behavior patterns without entering treatment. These toolkits help people gain information about addiction-related problems, evaluate their own behavior, and develop change strategies. The BASIS mission is to minimize addiction’s harmful effects by providing the public, treatment providers, and policymakers with access to addiction research.
